Expert Solution

1.

Regarding the work demand related stress, the one solution is to impart time management and skill development training to the employees that can help them effectively utilize the time and use specific technical skills that facilitate fast and quick execution of the work. The second solution is the adequate allocation of the task so that each work gets sufficient time to complete it. The third solution is to develop schedule of work so that different works don’t overlap with each other and get adequate attention. It will reduce the stress level with efficient management of work.

Regarding the low level of control, the first solution is to develop standard operating procedures for each work or process. It will reduce variation and bring control. So, stress level will come down. The second solution is to develop team work where employees complement & help each other. It brings control and stress level is effectively managed. Creation of informal groups, should also take place. The third solution is to bring regular revisions of the work being done at different time based milestones. It will help bring a corrective action in time and control will be re-established.
