Work stress is identified as one of the key factors that negatively affects the performance of construction workers. In your opinion, what are the three main causes of work stress and how would you manage them?

Three main causes of work stress for workers community are-

1.Work overload and deadlines.

2. Low salary.

3. Communication gap.

Solution to the problems-

Problem number 1 is quite common for each and every construction workers because due to less number of available workers they get too much of work load as the work should be completed on the deadline.

Solution to the problem of work load is having adequate number of workers for all circumstances it will reduce the work load on the workers and ultimately reduction in stress.

Problem number 2 results in stress in workers because of the economic conditions . This stress has only solution provide sufficient salary for their livelihood and on time payment to workers brings happiness on their face.

Problem number 3 is one of the vital reason of stress at workplace. This stress is quite common at each and every workplace. Because what the worker wants to say they cant say. And this bring stress in them. The only solution to the problem is to reduce the gap to the extent possible . One can create a platform to communicate to the workers at regular interval.
