Mr. Phiri has been awarded a contract of supplying coarse aggregates to Junxi Engineering company who
are working on Lusaka-Ndola dual carriage way. One of the condition for Mr. Phiri to supply the coarse
aggregates is having his own quarry site and to employ a material’s Engineer for quality control purpose
and technical advice. The material’s Engineer will give guidance on site selection for coarse aggregates
which will be presented to the main contractor Junxi Engineering Company. You have been engage by Mr.
Phiri as a Material’s Engineer and the first task is to give him a report on the site selection for the quarry
site.
