WHY COLLEGES NEED SECURITY FOR ON-CAMPUS HOUSING AFTER COVID-19 PANDEMIC? (300-500 words)

Covid-19 pandemic has caused huge  disaster to human life.The covid-19 or corona virus has killed many people by causing illness.It is physical transmitted disease and transmits when someone contacts infected persson when given handshake,reusing things which are already used by infected person.This disease transmits easily when gone into contact with covid-19 infected person.So,it has turned difficult for the governments to control the virus from spreading.Since,antidote and vaccine for covid-19 is yet to come most of the people who have low immunity are losing their lives.

There are more chances for covid-19 to spread in public places like shopping malls,stores,prayer halls,schools,colleges,public transport,etc.So,management of educational institutions like colleges,schools should be more cautious by sanitizing the college premises frequently.High security should be imposed in colleges so that spread of virus is controlled.In case of on-campus housing,few students opt to study by living in hostels as there residencies far away from college or even to avoid distractions while studying.Students who choose this facility of on-campus housing is high.Now,its responsibility of college to stop the spread of virus among students.Usuall,college is an over-populated area, where maintaining social distance is literally difficult.But,it is on management of college to make sure that social distance is maintained and all the crowded areas in college premises are sanitized.Moreover,symptoms of virus can be detected and confirmed only after 15days of being infected.In case if someone belonging to college or on-campus housing has been infected with virus,it will be detected or symptoms come into existence after 15days,but by during this period the infected person might contact many people and virus will spread rapidly.So,it is necessary for colleges to have high security and management should keep a constant check on students who chose on-campus housing.Social distance should be maintained among students,should be always be sanitized and personal hygiene must be maintained.If any student or staff member is suffering from high fever and other corona symptoms, then he/she should be quarantined and other students who contacted them should also e quarantined.Crowded areas like canteens,classrooms,halls in college should be cleaned oftenly and those places should be sanitized using sanitizers.Thermal screening should be used by college for checking temperatures of students who chose on-campus housing and off-campus housing.There are high chances for the virus to spread in such areas,so college needs high security as they are responsible for students lives.

Hence,colleges need security for on-campus housing after covid-19 pandemic.Since,vaccine has not discovered yet and spread of virus is rapid,it is necessary for college to follow the precautions by maintaining high security
