The present situation of Covid 19 has affected individuals at all the levels . It includes both physical and mental health. The uncertainty which it has induced in our future has led to much stress and anxiety in many individuals .Also stress is affecting many individuals because of the poor family environment . Individuals are forced to live in abusive situation in this pandemic .Also there other things which are affecting us such as uncertainty of career ., uncertainty of relationships, health concerns , Inability to take part in social events, financial and economic stress , physical stress etc . All these things have been accumulated and are leading to stress and anxiety among individuals. THere are several cases of suicide which have reported .Numebr of domestic violence cases has been increased drastically . There are a number of ways it can be managed .Let us discuss them one by one .
The first and most important thing in this time is allowing your feelings. This can be done through many different ways .For example writing a journal , venting out to others or indulging in some creative activities like painting , singing , drawing . It diverts the attention of your mind and also makes you feel light .Meditation is also one of the effective methods to counter stress. The next thing which can be done is to build a peer support group with whom you can share your joints and feelings .Social interaction is a very important part of our mental health . In this pandemic situation our social interaction has been reduced drastically which is affecting our mental health . One more thing which can be done is doing physical activity . Physical activity keeps you fit and hepps you in maintaining a balance between your mental and physical health .It helps you in sleeping better and reduces stress . Becoming lethargic and lazy is also seen in this pandemic which is leading to stress .Keeping your dad to day activities running can help in reducing your stress as it keeps you busy . Emotional connection is also an important part . Building a strong bond with others is important as it gives you a sense of security and belonging . Drawing a boundary between news and social media has also become very important as it is affecting our minds negatively .It also puts us in a lot of stress .The most important thing which needs to be done is seeking for support . As we know sometimes it becomes really hard to manage your stress and emotions . It is best to visit or talk to mental health care professionals such counsellors and psychiatrists and to let things come out . This helps in reducing stress As they are very professional in their work .They proved your sense of acceptance .
Stress in induvals has increased drastically in this new scenario .Our aim should be to build an inclusive environment to make everybody feel loved and wanted .As in this difficult situation it is very important to seek and provide support for every individuals . A collective action is required in order to counter the menace of stress .
