Conflict Theory was proposed by Karl Marx which states that a particular society is always in a state of perpetual conflicts because of competition which would be there to utilize the limited resources present. It also assumes that social order is maintained only via domination and power rather than mutual consensus and conformity.

If we see race and how some people are being explooited based on their skin color, Conflicting Theory will start making sense. As the resource is limited to use, our society is in perpetual state of conflicts among blacks and white race. White thinks they are superior to blacks and black consider themselves as the rightful inhabitant of the country. And it is assumed that social order can be maintained only if one group of people dominate over the other, but this is not always true.
