Research plays a vital role in any field you take , so it is also important to do research in the field of criminology because through research you can gather a whole lot of information that are significant in the field such as how surrounding influences a person's behavior , what are the factors that contributes in making the person to become a murderer etc., for all these kind of questions we get answer only through research. It also helps in making a correct judgement or a verdit in court. Some of the research impacts on policy and legislative outcome are as follows
