How does the criminal justice system play a role in society?
The criminal justice system basically belongs to different government agencies and institutions which helps to identify and catch the individuals who violate the law and do some crime. Other goals include the rehabilitation of offenders, and preventing other crimes. They also provide moral support to those people who become the victims in a crime which was actually not done by him/her. They make the environment of the community or society clean from any type of crime. They make the laws in order to punish the people who are found to be guilty in breaking any law. Ultimately their goal is to provide a better environment in society by decreasing the crimes.
