Should marketing objectives be described in quantitative terms? Why or why not?
This is a good topic for class discussion and an opportunity to stress the importance of quantifying marketing objectives. Quantifying marketing objectives provides marketing managers with a tool to measure the performance of specific objectives. It also helps managers create a marketing activity table whereby they can ensure that tasks are completed on time, or if not, that adequate action is being taken to recognize and act upon expected and unexpected delays.
