develop a DETAILED performance appraisal procedure with the performance appraisal FORM
The performance appraisal procedure will be a yearly process based on goals set for the employees and that will be set by the employees itself which needs to be approved by the respective managers. The process will be online where both the employees and the managers need to log in and set or approve goals. After the end of the yearly cycle the employees need to close and update the goals based on their achievement and once that is done the manager needs to evaluate the employee based on their achievement if the manager feels that the achievement updated by the employee is jot matching with his understanding then the manager and employee can have a discussion face to face in order to resolve such issues. In addition feedback of the employee is important and that should be collected from colleagues, seniors, juniors and also the project manager and these feedbacks are considered important and also has a role in this system.
If in any case the employee is not satisfied with the appraisal, then the person can actually escalate the issue to the person next in the hierarchy level and even if the issue is not resolved then the person can go for an arbitration in this case and that is usually done involving the HR department of the organization and after all the documents and points are put forward decision is taken based on that.
