Evaluation of Performance Appraisal:
A performance appraisal is a process through which an employee is measured on his key responsibility areas. Every organization clearly defines the responsibility areas to the employees at the beginning of the year and expects the results at the end of the year which is measured.
Performance Evaluation: Is a systematic way to measure the performance of an individual. It can be done through setting objectives and then assessing if the employees /organization have met the set goals
Steps in Evaluation:
Setting objectives/KPIs: Setting goals is the initial step wherein the target which needs to be achieved will be finalized.
Communicating: The purpose of this particular program or a goal has to be explained and communicated to employees
Training/Motivating: Next step would be to train on the subject and motivate the employees to achieve the same
Assessment: The final step would be to assess the outcome of the program or performance
Feedback session: Finally the feedback on performance/program to be communicated to the concern for improvement
