Interpersonal intervention deals with empowering employees to make decisions, take initiative and responsibility at all levels and functions of the organization.interpersonla interventional techniques such as mohair window is being used to help employees become more empowered and involved. The main aim is to improve the communication ability interpersonal skill and managerial performance of employees. The mohair window is a four celled diagram fiord measuring interpersonal style. The four cells are composed of the public area, the blind area, the closed area and the unknown area. Understanding of these four cells help employees know the beliefs and perceptions of other towards them and make them aware of their own behavior. It helps to overcome the blind spot in a person’s interpersonal style. It helps build bonding between employees. The open area shows an attribute that is known by the self and other. The blind area represents a person who is lacking interpersonal self-awareness.the closed area refers to given attributes that are known to the self, but not to others. The unknown area represents attributes that are not self known and not known to others as well but have an impact upon a person’s interpersonal and work relationships. Thus self awareness is important while taking into consideration both self disclosure and others feedback upon interpersonal relationships.
