communication is the process of sharing or exchanging ideas, vies, emotions etc from one person to another.team commuincation is the key to achieve the goal of the team.communication helps the team players to make a common ground to play because if there is no communication then team would be scattered & thier objective would be lost.

importance of team communication-

  • team communication helps to make quick decisions because they share thier ideas & give thier feedback to each other which helps to come a common decision.
  • effective team communication helps the team players to know what are thier roles & responsibilties assigned by thier team leader.
  • team communication is important to make cooperation & coordination among the team players.
  • team communication is important to remove conflicts & doubts in the mind of team players as they share thier views & ideas by communication so there is no need of doubts or conflicts.

there are many examples & benefits of team work & team communication which can improve healthcare-

  1. a proper team work helps the minimise the workload because each member of the team work according to thier roles & responsiblities in the healthcare settings for example- nurses do care of patient's medication, dressing, bathing etc while doctors do checkup of patient while administration staff took care of reports & information of the patient.
  2. team communication helps to remove the errors in the report because person responsible for the report tell the team leader about the error in time .
  3. team work helps the work to be done in time.for example- if there is mass casuality in the area then team members divide thier roles by team leader & each member done thier part accordingly so, casualties or injured can be treated in time.
  4. effective team work & communication improve efficiency in healthcare, quality in health care also improves patient's satisfaction.for example- timely blood reports, timely report on diagnosis, timely medication, etc.
