Communication is mainly the technique of transferring information from one place , person or group to another. Every communication needs atleast one sender , a message to send & a receiver to accept the message. These include our emotions ,the cultural situation,the medium to communicate & the location. Learning & developing good communication skills can help one to get success in the career.

Four types of communication is there & we use there in our day-to-day life. Those are verbal , nonverbal, written & visual. A good communicator can listen carefully, write or speak clearly.

  1. VERBAL COMMUNICATION:- It is the most commonly used communication type. It is mainly use of language to transfer information through speaking or sign language. Ex- During presentation, calls, meetings this type of communication is used.
  2. NONVERBAL COMMUNICATION:- This is mainly the use of body language, gesture & facial expression without speaking anything. Ex- It's the best skill to when someone tries to understand others' thought , feelings etc.
  3. WRITTEN COMMUNICATION:- It is most common to share information through -e.g.books, pamphlets, blogs, letters , emails, chats etc. This communication skill is actually the act of writing, typing or printing symbols like letters & numbers to convey information to others.
  4. VISUAL COMMUNICATION:- This type of communication is mostly used as an aid during presentation to help the audience understand the topic more clearly & easily.This is the act of using -e.g.Photographs drawings, sketches, chart, graphs etc.

4 types of communication skills are required to demonstrate this SLO appropriately

  • VISUAL

One can able to demonstrate this SLO personally. ( All 4 types were discussed before with example)

& there are some qualities to be needed to improve those 4 types of communication skill. Those are :-

  1. Active listening power
  2. Adopting the communication style to the particular audience
  3. Confidently
  4. Respect to others & audience
  5. Friendly nature
  6. Empathy for all
  7. Volume & clarity takes the one of the leading parts
  8. & last giving & receiving feedback is also the important part.

By maintaining this characteristics of good communication one can personally demonstrate those 4types of communication skill to develop their personality as well as self communication skill.

How you utilize scholarly writing, collaboration and information management to provide and promote cultural competence b& population health?

A:-

  • Utilization of scholarly writing- This is a type of writing which requires a different standards than other types of writing. This writing can present the unbiasedness, incorporate evidence & create a strong argument. Concise, precise & clear language is mandatory for scholary writing.So, it's very effective way to provide cultural competence & population health. It's very important to put it simply , writing implies thinking & it helps to arrange the thought in a specific manner.So a person can deliver the concise, precise & unbiased knowledge to a particular society according to their understanding level to reach them personally to promote cultural competence. E.g. of scholarly writing:- book reports, esssay etc.
  • Collaboration:-The collaboration with families & communities is identified the engagement in culturally competent practice. Respect, trust, shared decision making , these are the mostly required part of this type of collaborative practice In this kind of practice can promote cultural competence and population health by combining knowledge, skills & resources of a range of people who are working together to achieve the same outcome. It can preserve the deserve values, beliefs & feelings of the particular community people.
  • Information management:- The meaning of information management is mainly the collection & management some information from a source & it's distribution to one or more audience , the management is mainly the correct way of organization & processing to deliver the knowledge. It is actually developed by insight & innovation.The main purposes of this management is to support decision making, to create value for individuals & mostly it helps to organise communities & societies. So in this way it provides & promotes the cultural competence and population health.
