Explain the importance of communication in business organizations. Discuss with your classmates the various communication channels utilized in your organization. Also discuss how the organization overcomes communication barriers, and identify the strategies implemented to improve communication.

The communication is very important for any organization. The effective communication is necessary for the exchange of ideas, orders, thoughts and feelings among the organization. The communication is important as it induces the managerial ability in the organization and also brings the people of the organization closer. The effective commmunication helps in effective planning, grivance solving and also in diminishing duplication of activities. The various communication channels that are used in the organization are direct and indirect channel. In direct channel the person directly commumnocates in the physical form to the person to whom message is to be given. The indirect channel has two types which are electronic and non electronic. In electronic the methods used are mails, phone calls, office journals etc and in non electronic method the methods used are letters, office memos etc.
The organization can overcome the barriers of the communication by keeping following things on count, the organization should know what is the time and the media in which the communication should be made. The technical jargon should be avoided in the message, the environment of the organization should be free and democratic so that there is nor fear to communicate. The communicated message should be clear and concise.The strategies that can be implemented for an effective communication are that there should be fair transfer of message in the organization and people should know whether the message has been sent to the reciepent. There should be welcoming work environment so that there should be willingness to communicate. There should be a proper feedback platform and those feedbacks should be analyzed for the better controlling.
