two communicative strategies that can be used to develop reading skills in a struggling child.Explain how these strategies improve decoding and comprehension.
Reading is not a natural part of human development. Children do not automatically learn how to read and need to be taught to read.
Children can memorize words by sight instead of developing word attack or reading decoding skills.
These same children cannot memorize enough words over time, and so their word reading and reading comprehension decline with age
Communicative strategies - 1.Nomination
2. Restriction
A speaker carries out nomination to collaboratively and productively establish a topic. Basically, when we employ this strategy, we try to open a topic with the people we are talking to.
Strategic nomination is the manipulation of an election by its candidate set. It is different from tactical voting in which the manipulation comes from the voters.
Restriction Communicative Strategy is a strategy that constrains or restricts the Response of the other person involved in the Communication Situation.
