Importance of writing and reading skills.

1.Writing and reading enables one to translate,materialize and communicate ideas and thoughts that are essential to oneself and others.

2.Reading and writing skills help in portraying the creative side of people.Some people are talented in writing interesting stories and articles,some have good reading skills that everyone yearns to listen to them.

3.They are key in developing a good self image,boosts self -esteem and have high opinions of themselves and their abilities.

4.Good reading skills improves and help prevent spelling,punctuation,sentence structure and grammatical errors.

5.Good writing enables one to report their work in concise,informative and very professional formats that are well understood.

6.Reading and writing develops imagination and enables one to discover new things.

7. Reading and writing skills are vital skills that help one in finding a job,a well written resume and curriculum vitae sends a message to the employer that the interviewee is focused and determined in their life and thereby stands out in finding the job.

Yes I strongly believe that barriers in reading influences writing skills of a person in so many ways.This is because poor reading costs us a lot since it brings a misunderstanding as a result of spelling,punctuation,sentence structure and grammatical problems and this can be translated into poor writing since one makes the same mistakes.In order to be a good writer,one needs to be a good reader first,he/she should be able to pronounce words and new vocabularies correctly in order to translate their thoughts down on paper.One becomes an excellent writer after reading through a series of published work from different authors by understanding their different styles of writing.

Example of a passage that I found it difficult to read:

In the past few years the requirements against transmission of data rates have considerably increased. People have become more demandable and their effort has led to the need of transferring as much information as possible withi the shortest time possible. This situation has been addressed using optical fiber thereby as a transmission medium providing high bandwidth and high transmission speeds.

Although the bandwidth of optical fibers is considered as a great advantage, there is a problem with effective in using the entire bandwidth effectively. This deficiency has begun solved by using WDM technology that allows transmission of multiple optical signals on a single optical fiber by using different wavelengths. WDM technology has become very popular and widely used, base on a fact that the implementation of the already built network is very simple. Installed fibers are not necessary to re-build, you only need to upgrade transmission systems. Of the currently known WDM technologies, developers took DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) and CWDM (Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology.

The main goal of this paper to present influence of nonlinear effects in optical fiber. Nonlinear effects have very important position in field of degradation mechanisms. In experiments is possible to see options of optical fiber with and without nonlinear stimuled Raman scattering. We can be satisfied that the Raman scatter may not only have negative characteristics in the entire bandwidth. Simulations were created in programming tool OptSim. There were observed different parameters such as bit error rate BER, maximum distance of optical fiber and values of output power.

Theme of optical fibers is one of many important fields in those days. Our research team is focused on nonlinear effects and investigation also another degradation mechanisms in optical fiber.

There are so many grammatical,spelling,sentence structure and punctuation errors in the passage.There is no proper word organization in the passage.Words are not in their proper tenses and this brings a misunderstanding.The passage cannot be clearly understood.
