What's a good thesis about dreams? What are good examples of dreams you have had?

A good thesis statement for dreams could be :-
"Dreams are the channel through which our unconscious self has a conversation with our conscious self."

Please keep the following things in mind while writing a thesis statement :-

• A thesis statement should be defensible and not absurd

I dream on most nights but it becomes difficult to recall most dreams. The dreams that are etched in memory are the ones that incite strong emotional response or physiological response. Like the time I dreamed of failing an important exam I was studying for, made me regret not studying for the exam in the dream. I argue that this was my mind's response to the couple of days of me slacking and not giving the best for the exam, This is one way in which I felt my unconscious self was trying to tell something to my conscious self.
