What are the different approaches to understanding Human Behaviour in Organisations

Solutions

Expert Solution

For an organization, human resource is the most important source of all. So, studying the behaviours of the employees becomes more important in planning new things and improving their performance. Because human behaviours are very complex to understand as they are attached to the emotion and environment studying them becomes even more complex but few methods could shed light and make this process easy. Self-Analysis Report helps one to evaluate and know more about themselves by contemplating on their strength and weaknesses. Direct and indirect observation of the employees is another common method where employees are observed for their behaviours in different scenarios. Experimental method will help the organization to study the correlation between different factors and how they affect an employee’s behaviours. An organization can also study the work history of the employee and analyse their behaviours throughout their career. Simulated scenario surveys could be conducted with various questions that would assess their behaviours in different situations. Finally an organization can also use standardised test that could shed some light on how employees would behave in different scenarios.
