First,we will know what is verbal and non verbal communication.

Verbal communication occur s when one person speaks and another person listens.

verbal communication is a type of oral communication wherein message is transmitted through spoken words. Here, the sender gives words to his feelings, thoughts, ideas and opinions and expresses them in the form of speeches, discussions, presentations and conversions.

Non verbal communication includes facial expressions, gestures, eye contact, postures, tone of voice, body language is also essential for People to communicate without words or using language.

when an individual experiences a particular emotion,it is usually manifested as a particular facial expression. For that reason, individuals infer other peoples emotions by observing their facial expressions.

INCONGRUITIES OBSERVED IN BOTH THE TYPES OF COMMUNICATIONS:

incongruities means inappropriateness

As the saying goes, body language makes up 98% of conversation.

Inappropriate signals such as clenching your fists, finger pointing,a hard state or lack of eye contact, invasion of personal space and crossing arms all give negative vibes in a conversation.

smooth social communication consists of both verbal and non verbal information. However when presented with incongruence between verbal information and non verbal information, the relationship between and individual judging trustworthiness in those who present the verbal and non verbal incongruence and brain activities observed during judgement for trust worthiness are not clear.

In verbal communication incongruities are seen if proper language is not used, proper way of sentences are not made then the meaning of sentence changes,if proper syllables are not used.

Proper language along with proper body language and expressions are equally important to prevent incongruities between verbal and nonverbal communication.

GOOD LUCK!!
