This discussion has 3 parts:
In your experience, what is the nature of human
resource managerial work?
Describe the relationship between employee planning
and development. What experience have you had in this area when it
comes to personal and/or professional development?
How would you measure productivity in the workplace?
What would you do to raise morale in your organization?
1. The human resource management work needs to deal with the motivation, regulation, growth and nurturing as well as monitoring and appraisal processes for the employees. Their nature of work lies with the human currency of the organization and everything that defines it. Their work also includes the integration of the human factor into the processes which strategically define the work of the entire organization.
2. Employee planning can be considered to be the job consideration as well as factors such as which employee would be better for a particular job position, what skills are necessary for completing the job to the required levels as well as the recruitment processes that would be required in order to fill the capacity of the job.
While employee development takes into account the skills that an employee currently has and how the company can develop it so that they can become better at performing their tasks.
I haven't had first-hand experience of a managerial position but I have taken part in the training and development seminars which provide us with the basic examples of how an HR manager introduces the element of employee development.
3. The productivity can easily be measured by the output that is currently being produced. What this means is that an organization is best described in the terms of their productivity by looking at their output, the input that went into making that output as well as factors such as employee motivation, workplace efficiency, and capabilities both in terms of skills and future prospects.
