Science has gone through a lot of scenarios since the existence of knowledge. Everything could have started from our first ancestor which figured out how to survive on their environment. Thanks to this, fire was discovered and a lot of questions were asked since them.

Science is based on curiosity and humans are very curious. Since always, the humans try to answer questions about everything on their environment and this is what helps science to evolve and grow.

One of the most important questions resolved was the origin of the species. Question that Darwin answered by a huge amount of theories and hypothesis. This changed the paradigm of the world because in that time, we followed a creationism thinking. We actually believes that a God created everything in the planet but Darwin changed this abruptly.

This is just one example from a bunch of others that the history of humanity. But who this events are related with our beliefs about body? Well, the more questions we have, the information we will develop and this is fundamental. The age of science is directly proportional to the questions solved about our bodies. Who our cells works?
