In a professional career, job change refers to a change in the job profile which includes roles and responsibilities or company or departments within a company or leaving a job to pursue higher education, own business or retirement.
Below are various types of job changes -
1. Promotion - Moving to the next level in the hierarchy within a firm with increased roles and responsibilities.

2. Transfer - Moving to a different location or department.
