Note: I am not familiar with the assignment that you have worked on as I have no access to them but I can still provide a sound understanding of the concepts and their applications in the day-to-day lives of human beings.

Solution 1: Whenever you are working on some documentation, whether it is for the academic purpose or the official purpose, then you need to work on several kinds of files as well as th data. This data may include, the graphics, charts, graphs, music files, video files, etc. and you may need to include them as well in your text document so that you can provide a better understanding of the topic that you are trying to write about. Therefore instead of sending these files separately to your superiors, you should embed them within the same file so that it is more efficient and effective and can be understood and interpreted by the reader as well.

Solution 2: This object and file linking and the embedding can be utilized using the Microsoft Office softwate that allows the users to link the different kinds of files and objects into the textual documents so that they can be communicated efficiently to the reader. So using the word or powerpoint you can actually link different kinds of media such as video, images, etc. while working on the textual data at the same time and hence a lot of time is actually saved for the author as well as the reader who is trying to interpret the document as they do not have to go through different files and different software to read them, instead they can just make use of a single software as well as the file to get the understanding of the whole topic as the document becomes more interactive and understandable.
