Theory of planned behaviour is a famous theory of psychology. It says that there remains a connection between a person's belief and his/her behavior. A person's intentions and attitude determine the overall behavior of a person.
Social cognitive theory says that person's experiences determine the behavior in a greater extent. A person always become affected with environmental factors in his/her surroundings and also from interactions with other people. We keep on noticing each and every changes taking place in our surroundings and this observation becomes a part of behavior.
Trans-theoretical Model explains the person's awareness about getting better health. This model explains that a person can make various strategies in order to get a desired aim. These strategies guide an individual to achieve a better state. Various types of preparation are done in order to achieve a healthy state.
Health belief model is basically used in preparing various strategies for disease control. It is also used for motivating other people so that they can be inspired to achieve a good healthy state. Various health behaviors are analysed in a proper manner and a planning is being implemented so that desired changes can be introduced in a person's behavior in order to achieve a better healthy life style.
I think trans-theoretical model will be the most effective because it incorporates element of various planning. We can inspire people through calculated moves. We can act according to different different plans. If one plan fails then we may introduce another one and so on. Better preparation and better strategies bring better results.
I think theory of planned behavior will be least effective because it remain based on person's belief only. Such belief system can vary from person to person. It also lacks strategical aptitude which brings randomness in overall actions. Un-predicted factors may become effective and can bring ineffectiveness in overall health program.
