Cognitive comprehension is interpretation of the world through both intra and inter personal social interactions.

Social cognitive theory purports that individuals learn through observing their immediate environmental by empiricism.

Cognitive comprehension and social cognitive theory go hand in hand and aid an individual In building frameworks of references on the basis of information learnt by interactions.

Every interaction helps in cognitive comprehension and build guidelines called schemas for individuals which are frames of predictive behavior.

Of course, there can be a conflict within the schema, which when faced with the truth leads to conflict within an individual.

For instance, a child who has unfortunately faced violence from parental interactions has comprehended violence as a subset of parental care. When put in foster care, the child's reaction towards parental figures will be hostile due to learned behavior and in order to defend self. But, if the foster parents turn out to be loveable parents, the child will be conflicted as to the new piece of information.

This would require assimilating the new piece of information for vetter functioning, after which the child would have learnt a new lesson with terms to social interactions and self interactions
