Wearing a tie to look "professional " is an exaple of one of the good body language appearance. When a tie is wore it gives good impression on colleagues, clients and our boss. But weraing a tie depends on the situation and the time, for wxample, when we attend a casual work at day time we need not wear a tie.

Wearing a tie in all cases may not make us appear professional all the time, we have so many choices. We have to consider the ocassion, the choice of colour, fabric and more important company environment is mostly considered.

Especially when we are working in traditional industry like financeor insurance, software engineersand HRs of the company will be always familiar with the standards of formal dressing. The professional look comes with few givens like formal suit, dress shoes and collered shirt. Colours should be natural like black, dark blue or grey, patterns like light stripes are mostly recommended.

When fabric is concerned silk, cotton or sometines knit is most appropriate materials. coming to sizes, try to keep it standard, but skinny ties are also a good option. Bow tie are also pretty difficult to wear professional.
