Is it always best to look at the positive aspect of the situation? Give an example.
Everything happens in the environment has both the positive sides and negative sides as well. It is how one determine the situation by looking at the positive sides or negative sides. But it is always best to look at the positive side of the situation because looking at the negative side generates stress in an individual hindering his/her abilities to use full potential and also affceting the mental and physical well being as well. Being optimistic is like a game changer that helps the person to be more hopeful and confident about the future, this yields happiness which results into whole array of benefits for an individual. While on the other hand looking at the negative side or being pessimist makes the person vulnerable to distress and various other psychological problems along with negatively affecting all the areas of an individual's life.
For example- a student fail in exam may view the failure as either positive or negative, looking at the positive side of the failure will allow him/her to take it as a lesson and learn what he/she did wrong in the examinations and how can it be improved to get success next time. On the other hand negative aspect of this failure will probably result into distress causing the student to engage in drug/substance abuse or some other antisocial act which can destroy his career for a lifetime along with the development of some psychological disorders.
