To test the effect of a new six-week training program, 16
employees are asked to complete the training and then take an
advanced job skills test. Historically, workers who have taken this
test averaged a score of 50. This data for the sixteen employees
were normally distributed with a mean of 59 and a standard
deviation of 21. Use an alpha of .05 for your test.
State the hypotheses., Set rejection criteria, Compute the test
statistic (i.e., standardized score). Make statistical
determination.
There we do not have enough evidence to support the claim that there is an effect of a new six week training program on the score of advanced job skills test
