Ans: As we see in the given scenario the retail company want to extend their company network. As any company expand their network they need to be evolve to keep pace especially, it means that the grown significantly then those company expanding their small business to a global enterprise. So, regardless of the time-line and  size when any business grow we need to expand the network requirements also. So, in the expansion of the company from one country to another  the technologies or network management plays an important role.Network management is basically ensure that the certain tools and procedures are well-maintained and functional .

a) Efficiency: Any organization or company can expand their network capacity  and cut costs and the main important that can transform the networks for next-gen communications this all with the limited resources. For this the company should follow some key strategies :

  • By Using the Network Functions Virtualization (NFV): This NVF is less expansive and disruptive migration path to the virtualization. By implementing this virtualization the administrators can tightly control resources.
  • By Reducing the power consumed by the network: As we know that the every company is  looking to go green this is because of the financial and efficiency reasons both.So to increase the efficiency we must keep reducing the power consumption and the infrastructure related requirements.

b)Security: Network security is very important for any organization or company. So, in the simple word we can define the network security is it is basically the process of taking the preventative measures to protect the underlying networking infrastructure from any misuse, malfunction, unauthorized access or any other improper disclosure. So, before the expansion of the company the network security is very important.

For securing the network the  complex combination of hardware devices are required .The devices may be the  firewalls, routers, and anti-malware software applications.

c) Scalability for future expansion: In the most simple word we can say that the scalable network is that the network can grow when the company requires and it can serve the company. So, in the expansion of the company , the scalability is also very important. To do the network scalable , the company must evaluate about their currently use their business IT and it also estimate about how that they can likely to use it in the future. For any company the scalability simply means that the company must prepare to handle the increase number of the client ,  customers, and/or users.
