Yes people from different cultures have different beliefs and practices. In India people believe in various traditions like touching the elders feet as a sign of respect, praying with cows as they are considered vessels of God etc. In the west, parents send their children to college and they leave their homes by 18. In India and osuth east asia it is not so. In the west people believe in a non traditional society whereas in the East they believe in a more practical society.

Different cultures have different views about the place of women in society. In the west women are most of the time considered equal to men and can apply for similar jobs and do similar work. In the east it is believed that women are better caretakers of the home. This does not give women an equal opportunity to pursue their dreams and goals.

There are different rules and regulations regarding human rights in the world. In some places it is ok if people do not have freedom of speech as they are ruled by a dictator regime. In some countries prisoners do not get proper representation. There are many discrepancies when it comes to human right and violations.
