Moral values can be very different on the basis of intercultural perspectives because the moral values are defined by social norms set by the society on the basis of their experience with past behaviour and their knowledge about the ethical duties and human rights. Understand this we can take an example where in a particular culture it is considered to be a moral value to support one’s partner in growing in terms of their career however few cultures still consider the idea of only supporting the male of the family to grow while the females support them as moral.
Moral motivation can fail in cases where the moral judgment is not able to combine with the Desire of an individual which means that the content of moral judgment will not be related to the contents of the Desire held by the individual and will not rationalize their action which will prevent them in performing the particular action.
