do you think the American public are informed about politics and government or not? Are there better ways to get our news and information than from television?

Solutions

Expert Solution

In my point of view, Americans are not informed about the government and politics completely. America is an individualistic society, so no one cares about what happens in the politics except the politicians. For common people, it is all about their individual rights and their standard of living. As long as they are protected, they are happy with that. It’s not just televisions but newspapers and other media such as radio and internet spread news about politics and hold political debates. People want to make sure that the country is secured, the rights are protected and the politicians are not corrupt. So, in my point of view, it’s more than sufficient otherwise it would become like the developing countries where politics is a religion and elections are like festivals. Most of the people are educated and have gadgets that are connected to internet through which people can access government and its policies and projects.
