Before going on the damages of XSS attacks first lets see that exaclty XSS really is.

XSS is also well known as Cross-site Scripting in which the person who becomes the victim of this attack, is visit on the vulnerable web application, or the code is directly exicuted in the victim's browser by injecting javascript into web application. XSS is one of the client site attack. The Cybercriminal or we say hacker genrally tricking the users to successfully do the XSS attack by giving amazing offers or deals or other stuffs.

Damages that XSS attacks causes are :

  1. While we using internet there is web-session was created, and onces the XSS attack where done either by injecting javascript into web application in victim's browser or making them to visit vulnerable web application, the hacker enters in the user's session and hijack the account.
  2. Attackers also can install the trojan in victim's computer, after that they have access of the entire commputer.
  3. After a successfull XSS attack, The Attackers also trick the victim by redirecting them to other web pages that leads attackers to getting the access of victim's account.
  4. XSS attack allow users to not only take accounts of the victims ,but they can modify news, press realese etc. In field of Pharmacy attackers can modify the dosage of the drug that leads to give serious health issues to others.
