It is caused by the Increase in replacement of soluble protein with insoluble protein
Cause of blindness in acute glaucoma
This cause a sudden increase in the intra capsular pressure and lack of pain . This when cause compression of the optic nerve and when prolonged will cause degeneration if optic nerve causing permanent blindness
Cause of blindness in detached retina
When detachment of retina occur from the eye due to etiological factors for a prolonged period when untreated it cause the inability of eyes to perceive image . This cause blindness
Cause of blindness in optic chiasma damage
When due to etiological factors damage to optic chiasm occur it will lead to pressure over the nerves or reduced blood supply to it . As they are the conditions system the ability to interpret image is destroyed causing blindness
