1. Adolescent egocentrism is a phenomenon of an individual who is an adolescent who is unable to make difference about their perception of an other individual thinks about him and in reality what the other indidival thinks.
There are drawbacks of adolescent egocentrism which are it can lead to drug abuse and can also lead to unprotected intercourse. The person dealing with this might scrutinized and may not perform their task as they are scared of being judged by their peers. They may also become a bully as they are not sensitive.
2. As the teen who is dealing with adolescent egocentrism is very insensitive for the people around them, they tend to indulge in susbstance abuse and unprotective sexual intercourse. They are so stiff for their decision making process that the things they are doing are considered right by them. For example if a individual having adolescent egocentrism problem are meet with an accident while doing substance abuse or drinking then he would accept the thing that the reason of the accident is due to his substance abuse problems or drinking problem.
