Give a scientific method, procedure or ways to determine the statistics in order to investigate, or analyze the characteristic and behaviour of electric-powered two and three wheelers in terms of the factors such as safety, travel time, accessibility, cost for a user. I need help for a research class on determining the characteristic and behaviour of people.

Before i strar answering this question, first i want to give a fact in statistics that for small sample size, we use t statistics and for large sample size, we use z statistics. Small sample mean sample size is less than equal to 30. Large sample mean sample size is greater than 30.

if we talk about factors such as safety, travel time, accesibility, cost for users. All factors measure in proportion of people, ways.

first way is- when we do survey, record all the responce in terms of yes and no. Yes represent, satisfiction of users in terms of safety, travel time, accessibility, cost for a user. No represent, users are not satisfy in terms of safety, travel time, accessibility, cost for a user.

suppose we have a data of 100 peeople, we use z statistics.

Suppose we want to test that 67% proportion of peoples are satisfy for all the factors or not. We make the statements in terms of hypothesis, hypothesis are following-

H0= 67% people are satisfy for all the mention factors.

H1=67% people are not satisfy for all the mention factors.

so we use z statistics for testing a single proportion.

                         z=(p est.-p0)/sqrt(p0*q0/n)

where, p0=null hypothesis value

            p est.=observed proportion

            q0=1-p0

test z at 5% level of sisnificance. if calculated z less than tabulated z value then accept the null hypothesis, otherwise reject the H0.

Embedded within the terminology and computations of statistics is the scientific nature of knowing. The scientific method, and its application in hypothesis testing, can never “prove” that something is “true.” Instead, a hypothesis test indicates whether or not the sample outcomes we have observed are consistent with a particular theory or claim that is being made about the phenomenon under consideration. In 300-500 words explain how this statistical basis of “truth” compares to the “absolute truth” we’d prefer. Include in...

The Scientific Method and Statistical Reasoning Using the tools of the scientific method and understanding statistical reasoning can strengthen our critical thinking. Answer two of the following questions to explore these issues: What misconceptions often rise around the idea of a scientific “theory”? What are the characteristics of good scientific theories? Where have you seen statistical data (or charts or graphs) used in a way that obscures critical thinking? Describe the issues and how you might correct these.

Answer the following: Define “The Scientific Method”. Describe the specific steps involved in the Scientific Method procedure, and characterize how economists apply these steps in their work. Why do economists and other scientists always make the assumption “ceteris paribus = other things being constant” as they construct (build) their hypotheses (models)? What is a model, why model, and how can you separate a good model from a bad model? Distinguish a positive statement from a normative statement, and give one...
