Expert Solution

We can apply scientific methods in everyday life. It is a process or steps taken to produce reliable and effective results to answer a specific question. First, we have to observe things (Through our senses) and find a question. After forming a question we will observe things deeply and will note it. After that, we can form a hypothesis i.e., an educated guess how things work or what might be the results. A hypothesis must be tested for whether it is true or not. After a hypothesis, we can design an experiment or research model to find results. We can propose and do the experiments in duplicates or triplicates. So that we can make assure that our results are not false. Average values or mean value we can take from experimental results and notes. During our experiments, make sure that at a time be concentrate on one variable and note the data. After collecting data, we can analyze the data and discuss it with formerly reported work. After data collection and data analysis, we can make a conclusion to evaluate our hypothesis is true or not. The statistical approach helps to analyze data. The conclusion will be short and brief so that at a glance we can understand our hypothesis is true or not.

Steps:

1. Ask a question

2. Observation

3. Hypothesis

4. Design an experiment

5.Analysis of Data (Results)

6. Draw a conclusion

For example; what is the nutrient composition of the food items we daily having? We raise the question and form a hypothesis ( like essential nutrients). After that, we can conduct an experiment (biochemical, sugar test, nutrient composition) and analyze the data to form a conclusion. To compare the results and conclusions with hypothesis and find a solution to our question.

In normal life, we can raise many questions.
