HIV/AIDS POLICY
Introduction

are living with HIV in the United States .it is an emerging health
threat so inorder to address this effectively us has an effective
strategic plan.
Mission
To promote health and quality
of life by preventing HIV infection and reducing HIV- related
illness and death in the United States.
Aims And
Rationale
- Prevent new HIV
infection:
- Improve health outcomes for
person's living with HIV
- Reduce HIV - related disparities
and health inequities
- Continually improve effectiveness
and efficiency of operations
these are the aims of this policy
there are some certain updated plan
- HIV testing is simple, available
and routine
- Person's living with HIV have
their infection diagnosed,are linked to care and have acess to the
support services they need to stay virally suppressed.
- To address disparities focus on
prevention efforts among concentrated population.eg African
American,Men who have sex with men.
- Person's at high risk for HIV
infection have the prevention information and tools needed to
protect themselves from infection.
