COMPARING KIDNEYS TO LYMPH NODE:

LYMPH NODE	KIDNEYS
Lymph nodes are oval or bean shaped organs lies along the length of lymph vessels. The main substance of the node consists of reticular and lymphatic tissue containing many lymphocytes and macrophages The functions are filtering, phagocytosis and proliferation of lymphocytes	Kidneys are bean-shaped organs, lie on the posterior abdominal wall. The kidneys consists of number of functional units called nephrons. The functions are formation of urine, water balance , electrolyte balance and urine output.

2. Differences between male and female urinary system:

    The main difference between male and female urinary system is the length of urethra. The female urethra is shorter than the male urethra. The male urethra is involved in the urinary and reproductive system, Whereas the female urethra is involved only in urinary system.

4. A sheath of fibroelastic renal fascia, encloses the kidney and the renal fat, which protects the kidneys.
