Solutions

Expert Solution

Have a capsule roundes organs with internal parenchyma of lymph and cells.

It is a series of lymphatic vessels, lymphatic tissue, lymph nodes and other organs tonsils, thymus, spleen. It transports tissue fluid to the blood vessels and protects the body by removing foreign material such as bacteria. The lymphatic system's primary function provides us with immunity against foreign cells and other invaders

Lymphatic system drains tissue fluid, plasma proteins and other cellular debris back into the blood stream and is involved in immune defence

Once the collection of substances enters the lymphatic vessels it is known as lymph. It is subsequently filtered by lymph nodes from which it enters the circulation via venous system

The lymphatic vessels of the upperlimb are superficial lymphatics and deep lymphatic vessels

Majority of the upper extremity lymph nodes are located in the axilla. They can be divided into 5 groups

Pectoral, subscapular, humeral, central and apical

Efferent vessels from the apucal lymph nodes travel through the cervico-axillary canal before coverging to form the Subclavian lymphatic trunk

The right Subclavian trunk continues to form the right lymphatic duct and left subclavian duct drains inti thoracic duct
