We will choose to work for functional organisation. Followings are the reasons behind it:

  • Functional organisation are grouped into various departments consists of similar skill manpower. It will increases the performance at the highest level.
  • Top level management will take budgeting decisions and allocate human resources effectively to get the best productivity in time. It is suitable to single product category.
  • Employees are organised according to their skills. So that the project manager is able to cut down the overhead expenses. It reduces the work load.
  • Better control executes higher efficiency and easy staffing. Client problems will be resolve before the deadline.

Followings are the reasons why we are not opting matrix and divisional organisation:

  • Organisation structure is complex and project groups are not homogeneous. So that it reduces end productivity.
  • No unit of command. Hence functional conflict arises.
  • Resource availability is low which resulted in deficiencies in production process.
