"The Story of My Life" is an autobiographical account of Hellen Keller. It describes Hellen Keller's life till the age of 22 years. The central conflict in life was to accept and adjust to the harshness of life brought by a disease in her infancy that made her deaf and blind for rest of her life. Her major conflict was to achieve a highest standard of higher education despite her curbing physical disability.
The major themes of her narrative for her life were her untiring spirit that made her determined to stay to the purpose despite all the difficulties she came across in life. Though she faced many difficulties because of her restricting physical disabilities, she overcame them by her perseverance and will power. She learned to tackle her problems and in the way of this learning she embraced to understand others problems too. This made her journey to the victory with lot of difficulties a unique one, and became source of inspiration and motivation to many, and continues to inspire to this date and will continue.
