Describe the elements of a project quality plan.

• Quality Management- It describes the exact responsibilities and success factors involved in a project quality plan to verify that products designed for delivery are of the required quality and as per customer’s requirement. Any deviations to be avoided can be judged from this plan. It is made and handled by a team of Quality managers or project managers and project head. Objective remains project/ product meets its quality standards

• Quality Materials- is used to help improve the product, by the concerned managers. It lists the specific quality materials which are to be used during the project, plus standards, guidelines, checklist, templates, procedures, user guides and processes.

• Management of Defects- since Defective products can cost a company money and time and waste of manpower efforts, affecting its working capital management. Hence, objective is to reduce the amount of defective items produced, including it’s standards and procedures to be followed, Process or product optimization methods/ policies etc.
