Answer:- Crisis management plan consists of a detailed plan that outlines how to respond to a crisis and help an organization to possibly reduce risks.

The criteria that I would employ to evaluate employee’s crisis management plan are as given below:-

1) Planning:- For a detailed plan it is important to know the business objectives. During any crisis, the objective will protect any individuals who could be in danger and ensure that they are kept safe. Thus planning consists of certain actions that will take place in place of crisis.

2) Anticipate and forecast:- With some initial brainstorming and predicting what kind of crisis the company may face, it becomes easier to avoid some crises by making some changes to the existing operation. All the financial and legal matters must be updated.

3) Communication strategy:- A timely and clear communication about all the potential risks and crises with the employees is the key to successful crisis management. There should be a well-trained spokesperson who can lead and able to communicate through various channels.

4) Assigning a dedicated team and backup:- One of the most effective ways to manage a crisis is to have an entire team that is solely dedicated to this. These teams are made up of leaders like senior officials, executives, directors, etc from each department of the company. There should also be a back-up person in case the concerned person is not available in the situation

5) Post-crisis analysis:- If any crisis occurs then the management team should review and analyze the situation and come up with a new idea to manage the activity. They can also analyze the crisis management plan to check how it performs during the real emergency situation.

All the above-mentioned plans are critical but having an assigned team with backup can be considered as the most important element for the ongoing business operations. Also, there are leaders from each department handling that every function so they can communicate and solve if there are any possible crisis that can occur.
