Who are some stakeholders and how will they react if calorie counts are listed on menus along with sodium counts? Who are some stakeholders and how will they react if states subsidize healthy food products?
Regarding the calorie counts and sodium counts, the first stakeholder is the customers who are calorie conscious in nature. They will react with informed decisions and if the product falls in their preference, then they will become regular customer of the product. The second stakeholder is the customers or patients who are sensitive to sodium. These customers will react with joy if sodium count is balanced and if not, they will turn away from the product. The third stakeholder is the authorities such as FDA. Agencies like FDA, would react to verify the claims made by the product and labs that have conducted the test and given the results. The fourth stakeholder is the company itself that is producing the product. Company will react with a promotion highlighting its product that is more friendly to people who are calorie and or sodium conscious in nature.
Regarding state subsidized healthy food products, the first stakeholder is the government itself that will react with the new promotions, messaging that they care for their people w.r.t. their healthy life style. The second stakeholder is the customers who prefer healthy foods. They will reach by buying more of these subsidized products so that they can benefit themselves more from it. The third stakeholder is the companies. They will react by trying to produce more healthy food and get it subsidized by the states. It will help them earn more revenue and more market share.
