1. Zeus was the youngest son of the Titans Cronus and Rhea.
2. Kronos was the ruler of the Titans. He was anxious about the possibility that that one of his youngsters would execute him similarly as he had killed his own father. After the introduction of their 6th kid, Zeus, Rhea pulled a prank on Kronos. She gave him a stone to swallow rather than the child.
3. Zeus was offended by Prometheus' robbery of fire thus rebuffed the Titan by having him taken far toward the east, maybe the Caucasus. Here Prometheus was affixed to a stone (or column) and Zeus sent a hawk to eat the Titan's liver.
