3-Wernicke- Korsakoff Syndrome

1. Parkinson disease : a healthy diet is important to maintain
enough energy supply to the body. A patient with parkinson should
eat a balanced diet. He should take enough quatity of
carbohydrates, fats, proteins, mineral and vitamins. The diet
should consist of vegetables, fruits, nuts, antioxidants.
Parkinsons patinet should avoid alcohol, caffein and tobacco
smoking. They should also limit salt and sugar intake. They should
drink plenty of fluids.
2. Amyotropic lateral sclerosis: patient with ALS often have
swallowing difficulties . They should take food in the form of semi
solid and liquid instead of hard and dry solid food. They should
eat a well balanced diet and avoid alcohol, smoking. They should
limit salt and sugar.
3. Wernicke- Korsakoff Syndrome : patient should avoid
alcohol. Eat food rich in thiamine. Include fish, cod oil and olive
oil.
4. Stroke : well balanced healthy diet with enough of antioxidant.
Avoid smoking and alcohol. Reduce salt and sodium. Drink plenty of
water and other fluids. Avoid saturated fat and cholesterol rich
foods.
