Expert Solution

Differences between experimental and correlational research :-

* Experimental research is a research of independent variables where we research of many variables wich can be or cannot be related to each other. But on the other hand, correlational research is related to only teo variables which are related to each other that relation can be negative or positive.

* In the experimental research, researcher can find the conclusion of the experiment because of their causes. But in case of correlation research, researcher only observe the two variables, there is no interference or no control on the environment.

Researchers might sometimes use methods other than experiments :-

* Because sometimes methods helps better. That can find conclusion of the large number of variable experiments.

* There is not conditions and assumptions, we can't influence independent variables.

Advantages and disadvantages of survey method :-

Advantages -

* It can be done through online like mails, message, socal networking sites erc.

* There we can find data of the large number of respondents.

Disadvantages -

* There is less possibilities of accuracy of data.

Advantages and disadvantages of naturalistic observation :-

Advantages -

* In this case researcher can study for those which he can't be study in the lab because of some unethical results.

Disadvantages -

* In this when the individual know about that research is occy on him or her, they act differently than the reality.

Advantages and disadvantages of case study :-

Advantages -

* In this case, we can find a lot of the respondent that other research. It allows to find data in the depth.

Disadvantages -

* In this case, we are not able to fine data of the large number of respondents.

Positive correlation is the one in which there is a positive relationship between two variables.

For example :- if a boy smoke and also consume alcohol then if he increase to consume alcohol then he also increase to smoke and vice versa.

Negative correlation is the one in which there is a negative relationship between two variables.

For example :- if a girl play video games for long hours then she have less time for studies and vice versa.
