While appearing for any interview the attire matters the most. It is said that cold rice & tea are bearable but not the cold looks. Specially when it comes to interview, your attire matters the most. You need to be tactful about presenting yourself. Before you utter anything to the interviewer, you have already made an impression based on how you’re dressed. So here are few key pointers by keeping them in mind you can ace yourself in terms of clothing and presentation.
Dressing style for men can be overlooked through following pointers:-
Dress up in a manner that is professionally appropriate to the position for which you are applying. Often, it means wearing a suit. It is rarely appropriate to “dress down” for an interview, regardless of company dress code policy.
Try putting on business suits to interviews. You can go for a matching jacket and pants, dress shirt, tie, coordinating socks and dress shoes. A dark-colored suit with light colored shirt would be one of the best alternatives.
Going about the colors to dress up for an interview neutral colors—navy, gray, black, and brown—are the best to colors for a job interview. White is also an excellent, neutral color for a button-down shirt.
It is advisable to avoid loud colors and flashy ties.
Your shoes should be well polished and should compliment your overall dress. Generally, black and brown shoes are good to go with almost all the attires. Additionally, stay away from overly casual shoes, like flip-flops or sneakers. You won't make a good impression.
Consider if your pants or slacks have belt loops, wear a belt to tie your outfit together. Your belt should match your outfit and/or your shoes and bag.
While choosing accessories for interview do remember to follow the classic rule: Less is more. You can go for professional watch or your wedding band.
When it comes to piercings and tattoos, depending on where you are interviewing, you may want to consider covering your tattoos and taking out your rings.

Dressing style for ladies can be summarized as stated below :-
The following are the attires ladies can rock through their interview:-
A Navy Blue Blazer Combination
Button Downs:- You can go for sheer silk chiffon here.
A Blouse With a Bow and Skirt:- A skirt made of an interesting fabric or a simple black pencil skirt is a great way to make a business look your own
A Black Dress and Tights:- It can be a part of refined business wardrobe. Make sure the pattern is subtle, though - a sheer stripe, cable pattern, or ribbed look adds texture and interest, anything that resembles outright fishnets is not work-place appropriate.
Statement Dresses:- A tasteful dress in an interesting color, such as a muted turquoise or deep red can be good to go. When working with bright colors, though, make sure the rest of the dress is modest.
Ladies should avoid excess jewelry; instead of big hoops or chandelier earrings, opt for classic studs. Try to avoid wearing flashy necklaces, large sunglasses, or anything "bedazzled."
Shoes should be conservative and fairly low-heeled.
Your hair should be neat, clean, and conservatively styled. Banana clips, brightly-colored scrunchies or elastics, and cheerleader-type ponytails look out of place with a suit.
